The coming week is full of traditions, seasonal spirit, and, yes, shopping. Thanksgiving Thursday. Black Friday. Cyber Monday. Then, it’s time to give back! Join the NIRSA Foundation on #GivingTuesday, November 28, for this feel-good event that kicks off the holiday giving season!
Each year, more and more of you commit to the mission of the NIRSA Foundation by giving back: over the last three years, we’ve gone from 23 to 95 donors on #GivingTuesday. This year, our goal is for at least 100 NIRSA members to stand up and say, “I believe in NIRSA, and I support my NIRSA family by giving back!”
#GivingTuesday may be a one-day event, but our generous sponsor, Hughes Group Architects, decided that one day is simply not enough to showcase the love and support of our NIRSA family. So, during the whole week of #GivingTuesday—November 26-December 2—Hughes Group Architects will match gifts dollar-for-dollar up to $2,500! Thanks to their match, your donation dollars move us twice as close to our goal of $8,000 raised in support of campus rec.
During the week of #GivingTuesday, head over to our website to donate. After you make your donation, we invite you to celebrate your gift and help the NIRSA Foundation spread the word about #GivingTuesday by downloading the image below and posting it on social media with the message:
