The Association is thrilled to announce that the American Heart Association has joined the NIRSA family, becoming an associate member. Associate members are a valued part of the NIRSA network and we encourage individual and institutional NIRSA members to select associate members—whose dedication to the campus recreation profession brings considerable value to NIRSA individual members and member schools—when choosing their preferred vendors.

Life-saving certifications are required for most professional and student positions in campus recreation and are a core service offered by many of our institutional members. When choosing your provider for these vital certifications, we hope you will consider exploring a relationship with the American Heart Association. NIRSA members may be able to arrange individual discounts by working with an American Heart Association local training center.

NIRSA associate members are huge contributors to the Association’s ability to advocate for and advance the campus recreation profession. Many of them also support the Association by offering significant discounts to individual NIRSA members or through sponsorships. Show that you value their support by choosing them first when doing your purchasing in the upcoming school year. The online buyers’ guide has a full listing of NIRSA’s associate members.
