The 2016 Student Organizations Institute is set to take place from June 27–30 at the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. The event offers higher education professionals the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the principals involved in training advisors and handling risk management, legal issues, student group conduct, and other topics related to working with student organizations.

This development opportunity is for collegiate recreation professionals who have sport club programs or advising responsibilities related to other student organizations in their job portfolio. It is a great way to learn skills related to this unique area of the profession.

The institute will include a balance of traditional instruction styles as well as small group breakout sessions and other networking opportunities. Details about the 2016 institute—including the program description, registration and fees, transportation, and more—are available on the NIRSA website.

NIRSA members can register at member rates. Early registration rates for this event end on Friday, May 13—so register today!
