NIRSA members now have access to “Benefits of campus recreation: Results of the 2011-2016 Recreation and Wellness Benchmark,” a resource intended to enhance the understanding of campus recreation participation, among other things, in college students.
The NIRSA Research & Assessment Committee is pleased to announce that the NIRSA Institutional Data Set (IDS) is now open for data collection!
The NIRSA Foundation has confirmed the appointment of Dr. Robert Barcelona, Chair of the Department of Recreation Management and Policy at the University of New Hampshire, as the new Editor-in-Chief of the Recreational Sports Journal.
NIRSA’s Institutional Data Set (IDS), the benchmarking resource for professional members, is scheduled to close so a robust set of upgrades and revisions can be completed. The IDS will reopen in May.
The NIRSA Research & Assessment Committee is currently accepting proposals for 2019 NIRSA Research Grants. Proposed research should align with the NIRSA Research Agenda and the NIRSA 2018-2021 Strategic Plan.

The Recreational Sports Journal is looking for a new editor-in-chief. Qualified NIRSA members are encouraged to apply and submit all application materials on or before Friday, January 11.
