November’s #RecChat “Competitive Sports” brought up some great conversation from some very enthusiastic tweeters. Many recreation professionals were happy to engage in the discussion, which covered a variety of topics.
This month's edition of #RecChat will move back to Twitter where you can tune in for a great session about competitive sports. We'll be focusing on intramural sports, sport clubs, and other sports programming.
This month’s #RecChat features a Google Hangout with a number of NIRSA leaders including NIRSA President Stacey Hall, who will serve as moderator.
The NIRSA Board recently approved a Regional Composition Policy, outlining the process for states, provinces, or countries to request changes to their regional alignment and outlining a process for forming a distinct, new NIRSA region. The policy requires changes to NIRSA Bylaws to take effect.

On September 14, the Member Network will answer questions regarding their leadership role within the Association as well as other items prospective Member Network applicants might like to consider.
