Students understand that leisure time physical activity (LTPA) is important for physical wellness, mental health, and academic success, yet many students do not engage with campus rec programs. This session explores varying levels of constraints and negotiation strategies for college students. Factors will be examined based on class standing, gender identity, race/ethnicity, and disability status.

Esports can be a varsity-style sport and a social magnet at the same time. In this webinar we unpack what works on real campuses. Our team has visited dozens of campuses across the country. We will share what works, what does not, and why, including when to invest in competitive arenas, when a casual drop-in lounge wins, and how to keep both active after hours. |

The Student Well-being Institutional Support Survey (SWISS) includes an optional question set centering on climate for well-being in Campus Recreation programs, services and facilities. This webinar will summarize student responses to that question set and discuss students’ feelings of comfort and safety in the facilities and with the staff, and impact on student well-being and belonging. |
