The NIRSA School is designed to amplify the capabilities of newer campus recreation professionals.
Through this webinar, Ohio University will discuss their focus on developing a purpose-driven team, explore interdisciplinary and innovative strategies supporting wellbeing, and discuss successes and lessons learned through the lens of the presenters. Attendees will also learn how the Inter-association Definition of Well-Being can be used as a foundation and connection point for this work.
The NASPA Strategies Conferences provide student affairs practitioners with the knowledge and skills to effectively address collegiate alcohol and drug misuse prevention, mental health, sexual violence prevention and response, peer education and well-being through a variety of comprehensive and integrative approaches.
As a result of participating in the Recreation for Wellbeing course, participants will raise their own literacy around essential, foundational concepts thereby being better prepared to engage meaningfully in the work of wellbeing.
This unique conference empowers young minority students with the skills and knowledge that lay the foundation to building meaningful careers in the field of collegiate recreation. The ERSL Conference encourages diversity in our association in an effort to better reflect the populations and demographics that NIRSA members serve.
