By now, you’ve probably seen us mention CSAEd Continuing Education (CE) credits as you’ve perused our website, read our emails, and attended networking and professional development events from NIRSA over the last year. You might have even seen the credential listed in someone’s email signature! But have you had the chance to talk to a colleague who’s received the certification yet?
You’re in luck! We’re hosting a one-hour informational session where we’ll talk about the value of the certification, how to get started, and expectations for the actual examination. NIRSA members and CSAEd-CR Certificants Patsy Davis and Tricia Losavio will be sharing their personal experiences around the process during a Q&A session alongside the help of other panelists.
Following this free informational session, we’ve put together a three-part deep dive exam prep bootcamp webinar series for those interested in pursuing the certification and who would like access to study materials while making connections with other certificants. “A Three-Part Webinar Series to Support Your Journey to Certification as a Campus Recreation Professional” will explore the consortium’s primary core domains through the lens of campus recreation. The topics include leadership, social justice & inclusion, talent management, financial & facility management, and crisis & risk management.
Registrants for the webinars will have the opportunity to attend the webinar sessions live where they can engage in Q&As with moderators. They will also have unlimited access to the webinar recordings. Additionally, registrants will be added to a NIRSA Connect community that will allow them to engage in discourse around the certification with others and access a study materials resource bank.
Join us for the informational session on Wednesday, February 7 at 12:00pm Eastern/9:00am Pacific and register today for the webinar series if you’re ready to get certified!
