The NIRSA Annual Conference is the event of the year for those in the collegiate recreation field to pursue both professional development and networking. So don’t let the cost of registration get in the way of partaking in this fantastic opportunity—especially not when the NIRSA Foundation is offering a number of scholarships and travel stipends to both student and professional members.
There are 34 student scholarships, 12 professional scholarships, and six Travel Assistance Stipends presented by Core Health & Fitness available this year. Applications for each will be due by midnight on Tuesday, November 17.
These scholarships are funded by the past and ongoing generosity of the many NIRSA professional, associate, and student members; corporate partners; and friends of collegiate recreation who underwrite the NIRSA Foundation’s many efforts to provide meaningful opportunities for professional growth to NIRSA members. Eligibility and submission guidelines for all NIRSA Foundation financial assistance opportunities are available on the NIRSA website.
There’s no better way to start planning for the 2016 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo taking place in Kissimmee, FL from April 3–6 than to apply for financial support made possible by the NIRSA Foundation. Submit your application today!
