Those that joined us in Portland, Oregon for the 2022 NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo—or even the 2021 NIRSA Recreation Facilities Institute, presented by Mondo—know how great it was to be back together in-person! NIRSA is excited to keep in-person events going with the 2022 NIRSA Recreation Facilities Institute, presented by Mondo, in partnership with Athletic Business!
“Attending the Facilities Institute in San Antonio was a great opportunity for me to continue my professional development while connecting with others in the field. Visiting new facilities and getting a chance to see how other programs across the country operate is exciting and one of my favorite parts of the institute,” says Michelle Fitzgerald, Assistant Director of Facilities at the University of Central Florida. She adds, “I also really enjoyed the round table discussion we had as campus recreation professionals. It helped to come together to discuss successes and challenges we have all been facing in the last few years and it made me realize that we are not alone and that we have great support within our NIRSA family!”
