The rumors are true! #RecChat is back on Wednesday, November 18 at 3:00pm EST! The #RecChat team is inviting you to join us for a conversation around some of the things that have been weighing heavy on our hearts—the difficult conversations of 2020. Share with us how you’ve been approaching or facilitating difficult conversations surrounding racial equity, social injustice, systemic barriers, racism, and the 2020 election. We’re hoping to hear about your campus culture and conversations, to learn what resources have been the most valuable to you, and to hear about what you’re doing to make your campus a more welcoming place.
Joining the conversation is easy. Step one: Follow @RecChat on Twitter and Instagram. Step two: Tune into social media on Wednesday, November 18 at 3:00pm EST. Step three: Respond to the prompts with the #RecChat hashtag on Twitter and reply to the questions on our Instagram stories. Step four: Listen, learn, and interact with your fellow NIRSA colleagues to keep the conversation going.
