Don’t forget that Wednesday, March 4 is the deadline to submit your presentation proposal for the 2020 NIRSA Intramural & Sport Club Institute! This event relies on intramural and sport club professionals sharing their expertise and helping improve the profession. We can’t do this without you!

To help you get your wheels turning, the theme for this year’s event is “Breaking the Mold: Building the Future of Sports Through Inclusivity.” This theme highlights the importance of inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation—especially as recreation professionals are tasked with balancing meaningful collaborations while embracing the future of the field. While the theme is a great starting point, please feel free to submit whatever you think would benefit the profession and your peers.

Not only is presenting a fantastic way to give back to the profession, but—as an extra incentive—lead presenters will receive a $100 off coupon to use towards their registration! If you’re still feeling apprehensive, NIRSA has a presenters webpage with a Q&A and reminders on how to submit a successful proposal. If you still have questions or concerns about presenting, please feel free to reach out to NIRSA Intramural & Sport Club Institute Committee member Hannah Roberts of East Carolina University—she’s more than willing to help you out!

Please help improve this incredible profession by sharing your knowledge and expertise—submit a proposal today while you still can!

We hope to see you in Burlington!
