Every year, the NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo brings over 3,000 NIRSA students, professionals, and associate member representatives together for the express purpose of advancing the profession. NIRSA 2020 is taking place at the Phoenix Convention Center, located in the heart of downtown Phoenix, from April 18–21. The center—just four miles from Sky Harbor International Airport—is within walking distance to both conference hotels and numerous restaurants, and has its own dedicated stop on the Metro Light Rail line. Registration for this fantastic professional development event opens on Wednesday, December 4.

Before making hotel or travel arrangements, be sure to check out the overall conference schedule which has significantly updated look for the 2020 Annual Conference. The Honor Award will be recognized during the Opening General Session and the last day of the conference will play host to five rounds of educational sessions followed by the Closing General Session at 4:00pm.
Rooms for the NIRSA Annual Conference will fill quickly, so make your reservation directly after registering for the event. Remember, the booking hyperlink you receive in your NIRSA registration confirmation is the only official way to make a room reservation. Making a room reservation through solicitations from other companies may result in inaccurate availability, unreasonable cancellation or change penalties, or be non-refundable.
