The 2018 NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo is taking place in Denver from March 4–7 and it’s your source for Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)!
If you’re an aspiring or current member of The Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to earn up to 1.1 NIRSA CEUs at this year’s event—and that’s not including the preconference opportunities! Browse the educational session offerings to learn more.
Earn fitness credits
Are you a fitness professional? NIRSA 2018 is an approved provider of continuing education credits for the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the American Council of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Please review the education session information to find out which sessions will offer continuing education units for these organizations.
Earn professional involvement credits
NIRSA recognizes that professional involvement is an important way for professional members to serve, learn, and stay current in the field. For those seeking Registry renewal, 0.4 Professional Involvement Credits (PICs) can be earned by presenting at this year’s conference.
Verify your attendance
Sessions offering CEU earning opportunities will be marked as such in the event app. Attendees looking to earn CEUs at this year’s event must be sure to complete a session evaluation at the end of every session. Doing so verifies your attendance at the CEU-eligible session. As an approved provider of CEUs for the organizations listed above, NIRSA is required to maintain a record of your attendance. Please help us do so by completing the session evaluations completely.
