The 2017 NIRSA Fitness & Wellness Institute Committee has been putting together a fantastic preconference training opportunity for the 2017 NIRSA Triventure!

The preconference workshop TriggerPoint Foam Rolling, Level 1 will be a four-hour workshop focused on covering the fundamentals of myofascial release, reviews the latest in self-myofascial release (SMR) research, and dives into the TriggerPoint SMR movement philosophy using the GRID foam roller.

By completing this training, attendees will walk away with practical knowledge and hands-on experience for coaching movements that can be scaled to all fitness levels for pre- and post-workout foam rolling.

“I learned great self-myofascial release techniques to teach to others and for my daily maintenance as an instructor. I keep TriggerPoint products in my office to share techniques with staff and colleagues but also for my self-care,” says Chrystina Wyatt, Assistant Director-Fitness/Wellness at The University of Texas at Austin. “Since attending the training and incorporating techniques in my personal routine, I have noticed a reduction of tension from excessive sitting and improved mobility.”

Personal Trainer, Kaelee Humphrey of Auburn University also praises TriggerPoint by saying, “TriggerPoint is the ultimate neuromuscular therapy. TriggerPoint is an easy way to ease muscular tension, alleviate referral pain, and prepare for your next workout.”

The 2017 NIRSA Triventure is the perfect opportunity to find out for yourself just how effective TriggerPoint can be. Sign up before October 18 to take advantage of early bird pricing!

The NIRSA Triventure will be November 30 – December 2 in Marrietta, Georgia. The Trigger Point Foam Rolling, Level 1 workshop will take place on November 29. Spaces for this opportunity are limited, so register soon.
