The 2018 NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo will take place March 4–7 in Denver, Colorado. The overall conference schedule is a great planning guide for the 2018 conference as it gives potential attendees an overview of the event. Additionally, the 2018 NIRSA 2018 FAQ’s should answer a majority of your questions.

To answer your most pressing questions

When will conference registration open?

Registration for NIRSA 2018 will open in early November. The early bird registration deadline will be mid-January.

What will be new and different in 2018?

The Opening General Session will have a late start (7:00pm-9:00pm) on the night of Sunday, March 4. The Expo Grand Opening will take place in the late afternoon on Monday, March 5 (4:00pm-7:00pm). It will be followed by the All Conference Social (8:30pm-11:30pm). We are also excited to announce that the Mark Fletcher Fun Run/Walk will make its return this year.

Attendees should note that NIRSA will no longer offer a formal guest program. Interested guests of registered attendees should contact Loretta Capra from the 2018 Host Committee who is coordinating some “pay-as-you-go” options.

In addition to these early planning tools, we’re happy to say that the educational content is coming together. Watch for conference website updates in mid-October regarding preconference workshops and trips as well as keynote speaker information. The educational session schedule will be posted on the website prior to the early bird deadline in mid-January.
