A slate of ten NIRSA Regional Basketball Championships will take place this winter, leading up to the 2014 NIRSA National Basketball Championships, scheduled for April 11-13 at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Boston University hosted the season’s first regional, January 24-26, with 36 teams competing for the Regional Championship title. After an energetic and competitive weekend of play, Yale University won the men’s division in double overtime and Penn State was victorious in the women’s division. Both teams will be representing their universities in Raleigh at the National Championship in April.

Boston University hosted a weekend of jam-packed action at the first NIRSA Regional tournament of the year.
