Announcing the sites and dates for the 2018 and 2019 NIRSA Annual Conferences

It’s no secret that the NIRSA Annual Conference is a highlight experience!

Held in a different, exciting city each year, this event is the place where we all come together in one space to network, learn, and grow.

This highly-anticipated and large-scale conference takes no small amount of planning, which is why we’re already looking ahead to 2018 and 2019!

The 2018 NIRSA Annual Conference will be held March 4-7 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO. The Convention Center and conference hotels are just steps away from the downtown 16th Street Mall—a mile long pedestrian promenade lined with outdoor cafes, restaurants, and retail shops. Additionally, locating NIRSA 2018 in Denver will be just one more way NIRSA lives its value of sustainability; a recent GreenBiz.com article listed it at the top of its “Top 10 U.S. cities for green meetings” list.

No matter the year, the NIRSA Annual Conference is always a highlight experience!

The 2019 NIRSA Annual Conference will be held February 16-19 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA. The Convention Center is just blocks away from the Charles River and Fenway Park in Boston’s “Back Bay” neighborhood, and it is part of an interconnected indoor complex that includes three major hotels and two shopping malls.

The process for identifying Host Committee Chairs for these and all future conferences will gear up about two years prior to each conference, and it will be initiated by the respective Regional Representative.

We hope you are planning on attending NIRSA 2014 in Nashville at the Gaylord Opryland, April 23-26, as well as the other Gaylord conferences: March 30-April 2, 2015 at the Gaylord Texan (Dallas/Ft. Worth area); April 3-6, 2016 at the Gaylord Palms (Orlando area); February 20-23, 2017 at Gaylord National (Washington, DC area).
