We’re very excited to announce that the NIRSA Club Basketball League will tip-off in November 2013!

During the inaugural season, Region I men’s and women’s teams will participate in the league to vie for the NIRSA club basketball league titles; the men’s and women’s teams who emerge as league winners will receive an automatic bid to one of the NIRSA Championship Series Region I championship basketball tournaments.

The NIRSA Championship Series Work Team extends their gratitude to their phenomenal NIRSA colleagues who helped recruit teams for the league. Everyone put in a tremendous amount of effort, promoting our inaugural season to colleagues through phone calls, emails, and social media.

NIRSA Championship Series Committee Chair, Jonathan Elliot expands on this, saying, “I’m very satisfied with the results we’ve received, and it wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for the considerable efforts of our many NIRSA colleagues – so thank you!”
