The NIRSA Championship Series is off to a fast start, with several regional flag football tournaments getting underway in October, starting with Swamp Bowl at the University of Florida (@SwampBowl26).

The fast-paced action of this year’s regional events takes place at twelve sites, culminating with the National Championships at the University of West Florida.

It can be a lot to stay on top of, which is why the NIRSA Championship Series’ Brand Management Work Team has redoubled their commitment to help keep you updated on the action by utilizing their newly renamed twitter account, @NIRSAChamp.

Twitter helps make the ever-globalizing world of NIRSA just a little bit more local. Social media is a powerful way to communicate with participants, officials, fans, and staff in a real-time fashion to create synergy and excitement for our events. We’ll tweet, retweet, and mention all of the pertinent action provided by our fantastic regional hosts so that you can keep tabs on what’s happening—no matter where you are. We’ll show you where to find the final results and provide an inside look at the sights and sounds – it’s the next best thing to being there!

Capture an Instagram video of an unbelievable touchdown? Take a Vine of the fans going wild after a huge flag pull? Tweet it at us or use the #NIRSAFlag hashtag throughout the fall so we can share with our followers.
