At the 2013 NIRSA Triventure—a once-in-a-blue-moon event combining NIRSA’s Recreation Facilities Institute, Aquatic Institute, and Fitness & Wellness Institute into one great professional development experience.
Stellar educational sessions and a myriad of social and networking opportunities will be complemented by awe-inspiring facility tours.
The 2013 NIRSA Triventure, which will take place October 16-18 in Denver, CO, has scheduled facility tours to be hosted by the University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado School of Mines, the Carmody Recreation Center, and the University of Denver on October 16. The following day, attendees will have an opportunity to visit Colorado State University; additional tour sites are being confirmed. The facility tours have been built into the programs for the Facilities and Aquatics Institutes; attendees of the Fitness Institute can opt-in to the tours for a nominal fee.
In addition to the facility tours, a preconference trip to the U.S. Olympic Training Center and Colorado College has been scheduled for October 15. Colorado College recently completed state-of-the-art renovations and boasts a climbing wall that was recently featured in Outside Magazine The U.S. Olympic Training Center Complex is home to a world-class Aquatics Center, Sport Center Gymnasiums, weightlifting and wrestling facilities and the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame; it provides a unique opportunity to learn from a facility built for health and wellness at its highest level.
