NIRSA will hold elections in April for the open Canadian Member Network positions. The NIRSA Board of Directors recently announced the approval of an initial modification to the regional representative structure for the new Canadian Region. There will be three open positions:
- Canadian Regional Representative one-year term (2017-2018)
- Canadian Regional Representative two-year term (2017-2019)
- Canadian Regional Student Leader one-year term (2017-2018)
NIRSA’s dedicated and outstanding members are the driving force of the organization, and the Association wants your help to fill these important and influential positions with talented, thoughtful, and dedicated student and professional leaders who will help keep our Association moving forward!
Serving as a NIRSA leader not only benefits the Association, it leads to personal and professional growth. If you’re interested in one of these positions, please visit the Canada in Motion webpage for application materials. Applications are due by Monday, April 3.
If you know a NIRSA member who would be an excellent fit for one of these roles, please consider making a recommendation by sending an email to NIRSA Membership Outreach Coordinator Emily Hughes with the member’s name and institution. A member of the Canadian Region Nominations & Appointments Committee will contact recommended candidates to assess their interest and discuss the application process.
NIRSA members within the Canadian region will have the opportunity to participate in the election of these roles via electronic ballots in April.
- For more information, please contact NIRSA Membership Outreach Coordinator Emily Hughes.
Emily Hughes is currently the Campus Activations Director at NIRSA.
