Pack your favorite running shoes for the 6th annual Mark Fletcher Fun Run/Walk hosted by the NIRSA Foundation at the 2015 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo in Grapevine, Texas. This special event will take place—rain or shine—on a dedicated, marked route around the beautiful Gaylord Texan on the last day of the Annual Conference, April 2.
Just like last year, there will be water stations on the course and race bibs with timing chips will be offered—though attendees won’t be required to wear them to participate. The event’s atmosphere will remain noncompetitive, and the Fun Run/Walk will provide NIRSA members with a great way to network while living the NIRSA strategic value of health and wellbeing.
Your participation in this annual event helps the Foundation support research for the profession and professional development for fellow NIRSA members. The Foundation’s scholarship program provides professional and student members with opportunities to gain new skills and make connections that will help them to continue building a successful career in collegiate recreation.
Conference attendees can register for the Mark Fletcher Fun Run/Walk as a part of their NIRSA 2015 registration. Although you can register for the Fun Run/Walk on site, by registering in advance you’re guaranteed to receive a Mark Fletcher Fun Run/Walk T-shirt!
