The NIRSA Honor Award is one of the Association’s highest recognitions. It is awarded annually to a NIRSA member of outstanding professional achievement who has demonstrated exemplary service to the Association over their career and who has made significant contributions to the field of college recreation. Now is the time to honor such an individual. The Honor Award Committee is currently accepting nominations for the 2017 NIRSA Honor Award.
This prestigious distinction will be celebrated at the Honor Award Banquet, our Association’s gala event, at the 2017 NIRSA Annual Conference taking place in National Harbor, Maryland from February 21-24. They will also be featured in the NIRSA News and in an issue of the NIRSA Know.
Take advantage of this opportunity to honor the leadership and service provided by an inspirational NIRSA colleague. Eligibility and selection criteria as well as tips for writing your nomination letter can be found on the NIRSA website. Nominations are due by Tuesday, November 1.
