In March, over 80 professionals registered for the inaugural Community Connection session, which focused on work and life balance.
We hope you’ll join us for the April session, which will take place on Tuesday, April 20 at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET. Please note that you must register for this session no later than Thursday, April 15.
Cultivating Professional Relationships
Like the March session, April’s Community Connection will have a focused topic: cultivating professional relationships. Discussion will focus on how different leadership styles and generational lenses can impact effective communication among colleagues and employees.
Again, the session will be spent in small, facilitator-led groups to allow for deep and fully engaged conversation as well as enhanced networking. Come ready to actively participate and to meet new professionals in our field. After registering, attendees will have access to an event-specific Connect community where they can share resources and keep the conversation going well after the event has concluded.
By instituting a registration cut-off date for Community Connection sessions, we will be able to ensure an ideal facilitator to participant ratio. Register today to claim your spot in the conversation!
Work + Life Harmony
Our previous session focused on tactics, habits, and patterns that are useful and effective in this new world where life and work are intersecting in new ways.
Conversations in the breakout rooms touched on many areas, including work life harmony when working from home, maintaining motivation, motivating others, practice ideas for self-care, navigating feelings of burn out, and much more.
Participants relayed that the small-group conversations were effective for meeting new NIRSA colleagues and provided a welcoming space to share their experiences.
Join us in April to be a part of the networking and conversation!
