NIRSA’s Institutional Data Set (IDS), the Association’s benchmarking resource, is currently open for a new year of data collection. Member feedback regarding the IDS has led to a redesign of the platform to align with NIRSA’s previous space planning resources. The alignment of these resources is intended to provide members with a more robust dataset. Additionally, data collected via the IDS will be used to develop resources including a Rec Facilities report.
“The IDS provides a comprehensive, one-stop source for benchmarking campus recreation programs. Prior to the IDS, our office relied on an inefficient process of searching multiple sources for data and then transferring it to another virtual location. With the IDS our process has been streamlined and we’re more confident in the accuracy and meaning of the data that we are presenting to our institutional administration,” says Armand Buzzelli, Director of Campus Recreation at Robert Morris University.
Professional members who contribute their institution’s data will be eligible to receive this report at a discounted rate. To receive this resource at a heavily discounted rate, members must contribute their institution’s data by April 15, 2020.
Visit the NIRSA website today to access the IDS and contribute your data now!
