Greetings NIRSA family, I hope everyone is settling into the school year and hopefully looking for their next big professional development opportunity. I have some great news! The 2020 Emerging Recreational Sports Leaders Conference Program Committee is now accepting presentation proposals!

The Emerging Recreational Sports (ERSL) Conference has been a signature event for students and young professionals who are interested in careers in campus rec. It has encouraged a strong future of leadership from minorities in the field for nearly 30 years.

Please consider this opportunity to present at the 28th ERSL Conference, which is themed “Stronger Together. Growing Together.” The conference is taking place from February 20–22 at Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware.

The success of this event depends on you! It depends on members choosing to contribute by registering for the event and submitting presentation proposals. I know I speak for the entire Program Committee when I say that I hope you will consider joining us.

NIRSA professional and student members who submit proposals and are among the first to have their proposal selected will serve as lead presenters and will receive a courtesy time preference. This means they’ll have the option to select the day and time they would like to present, which is definitely a reason to get excited! The deadline for these priority submissions is Monday, December 2.

You don’t want to miss out on this fantastic chance to share your knowledge! Submit a presentation proposal by the Monday, December 16 deadline for all submissions!

We can’t wait to see you in Delaware!
