There’s still time to submit a poster presentation proposal for the 2020 NIRSA Annual Conference taking place in Phoenix, Arizona from April 18–21. Poster presentations showcase research and/or an institutional program. An effective poster operates on multiple levels: Posters should serve as a source of information, as a conversation starter, as an advertisement of the presenter’s work, and as a summary of the presenter’s work.
Unlike a typical educational session, poster presentations allow viewers to study information and discuss it with presenters. They combines text and graphics to make a visually-pleasing presentation that allows viewers a quick and efficient overview of a topic.
Poster presentation proposals will be accepted until Sunday, November 3. Visit the NIRSA 2020 website for useful resources to help shape your proposal—including poster space requirements, presenter resources, and a poster proposal guide—as well as to submit your poster presentation proposal.
See you at NIRSA 2020!
