Interested in going to the 2019 NIRSA National Soccer Championships taking place in Round Rock, Texas from November 21–23? Then make sure your team enters the NIRSA Championship Series Soccer Lottery Draw! This lottery draw is an opportunity for all club soccer teams to have a chance to be a part of this year’s tournament. Take part in the lottery and don’t worry about qualifying for the tournament through your region’s league.

The 26th annual NIRSA National Soccer Championships are a short two months away and we’re all excited to be heading to Round Rock! Similar to past years, the Champ Series will hold a lottery draw to select the teams who will participant in the Open Division of both the Men’s and Women’s divisions. Teams must register through IMLeagues between 6:00am PST on September 26 and 2:00pm PST on September 30. Teams signing up for the lottery should have funds in place to travel and have a commitment from the team to travel.

On October 4, our legendary host David Peters of Florida State University will pull team names from a hat to determine the lucky 48 teams who will compete in this year’s tournament. Once David has finished with the draw, invitations will go out to all teams that were selected and each team will have until 5:00pm PST on October 9 to accept and pay the entry fee to finalize their spot. For a quick and easy registration process, have the team rep’s contact info and the sport club director’s email address at the ready. Teams can find more information on our website, including when rosters and forms are due!

There will be 96 teams from across the country participating in the Women’s and Men’s divisions of the tournament. In addition, we’ve also added a Unified division! We’re excited to have athletes and their partners coming to join us in Round Rock for the championships!

For anyone wondering about the Championship division at-large bids, they’ll be sent out on October 29. If you want to learn more about how to qualify for the Championship division, contact your regional coordinator; they serve as the primary contact for reporting scores during the soccer season.
