“We are thrilled to welcome Jeff and Michele to the NSC Board and are excited to see the impact of their strategic marketing backgrounds and experiences—inside and outside of higher education—on the work of NSC,” says Pam Watts, Executive Director of NIRSA.
At the May NIRSA Board of Directors meeting, Stephanie was appointed President and Jennifer Speer was appointed Vice-President of NSC. As officers of the NSC, both will join NIRSA’s quarterly leadership summit meetings which include officers from NIRSA, NIRSA Foundation, and NSC Boards and the Member Network Chair to ensure alignment between the Association’s key leadership groups. These quarterly meetings also help to facilitate collaboration opportunities as they arise and allow leaders time to share what each leadership group is learning and hearing from members.
“Stephanie’s depth and breadth of experience in higher education and in a variety of NIRSA volunteer positions will continue to be an asset to NSC and we are excited to have her leading the Board as NSC President,” Pam adds.
