To help members find and recognize recipients in their networks, the page features easy-to-sort tables that can be organized by recipient name, region, state, institution, and more. There is also a search bar if you’re looking for a specific recipient, institution, etc. in a given year. The NIRSA Foundation first awarded scholarships in 1994, and the page will inevitably archive all recipients from 1994 to the present.
Scholarships are made possible by our generous NIRSA family. Thanks to our donors, the NIRSA Foundation was able to award 110 scholarship and stipend opportunities in 2019:
- 67 full-registration scholarships to the NIRSA Annual Conference, NIRSA School of Collegiate Recreation, and NIRSA Triventure
- 9 professional J. Michael Dunn Preconference Education scholarships to NIRSA 2019 preconference workshops
- 27 student Michael Dunn Student Professional Development Workshop scholarships
- 7 Travel Assistance Stipends presented by Core Health & Fitness
