There will be something for everyone to kick off the 2019 NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo. Attendees will have unique opportunities to network and engage with other aspiring leaders in the Association while learning about youth programs, campus collaborations, strategies for engaging in difficult dialogue or learning how to design assessment-based programming.
Saturday, February 16 is going to be chalk-full of education and networking opportunities for those who come early and register for one of the many preconference trips or workshops. In addition to the educational workshops on Saturday, attendees can also choose to participate in one of two facility tours, a women’s networking luncheon, or take a walking tour of Boston. The Opening General Session kicks off the conference at 3:30pm on Saturday afternoon with Special Olympics Chairman of the Board Tim Shriver who will share his message of promoting the gifts of the marginalized through social inclusion and unified leadership.
