We’re excited to announce that the #RecChat team is collaborating with members of the Small Programs Advisory Council for the November edition of #RecChat on Wednesday, November 15 at 3:00pm EST!
Three NIRSA members with experience working at small programs will serve as panelists on a Google Hangout that will be streamed live on Youtube. The panelists are:
- Todd Bowyer, Director of Campus Recreation, Roanoke College
- Joe Hoff, RCRSP, Director of Recreational Sports, Texas A&M University-Galveston
- Alecia Stegenga, Aquatics Coordinator, University of Illinois at Chicago (formerly at Valparaiso University)
These members have worked at both public and private schools, and their diverse experiences represent multiple regions, career paths, and campus reporting structures. Their conversation will highlight some of their key learnings and things they wish they would’ve known, as well as discuss ideas to address common challenges faced by small programs staff.
Join the conversation!
#RecChat participants are welcome to add their voices to the discussion by using the #RecChat hashtag to ask the panelists questions on Twitter. Just follow the @RecChat handle on Twitter to view the conversation!
If you’re new to #RecChat and would like more information about it, make sure to check out this informational video to see what it’s all about. We hope you will join us in the conversation on Twitter and YouTube on Wednesday, November 15 at 3:00pm EST!
