A record nine preconference workshops will be offered on Sunday, March 4, to kick off the 2018 NIRSA Annual Conference & Campus Rec and Wellness Expo. Attendees will have unique opportunities to network and engage with other aspiring leaders in the Association while learning about topics such as Unified Sports (Level I or II), campus recreation’s role in solving sexual violence on campus, or enhancing the recreational program at a small college or community college.
In addition to the educational workshops on Sunday, attendees can also choose to participate in one of two facility tours, a women’s networking luncheon, the NIRSA Community Service Project, or an outdoor adventure in the mountains of Summit County, Colorado.
The complete list of preconference opportunities is available on the NIRSA website.
The Opening General Session kicks off the conference at 7:00pm on Sunday night with Aron Ralston sharing his story of being pushed to extraordinary limits.
