The Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals (RCRSP) is a designation that guides, encourages, and recognizes purposeful and continuous professional development for the field. With several education events taking place at the state, regional, and national level in the next several months, there are plenty of ways to earn continuing education credits that may be applied to RCRSP applications and renewals!
If you are a member looking to earn RCRSP credits, you’ll want seek out education opportunities that meet the RCRSP education requirements. The education activity must support your growth in NIRSA Core Competencies, last at least 60 minutes, communicate learning objectives, and include a session evaluation.
Tracking your credits is easy using the CEU tracker accessible in your member profile. Simply log in to your profile after the event and enter the sessions you attended.
RCRSP credential holders have many ways to earn the required 4.5 CEUs within the three-year membership period.
CEUs may be obtained from:
- NIRSA educational programs
- NIRSA regional conferences & state workshops
- Educational webinars
- Non-NIRSA educational programs (i.e.—professional development events on your campus, offered by another association, etc.)
Check out the NIRSA calendar for details about upcoming opportunities in your area.
