With the generous support of the NIRSA Foundation, the NIRSA Institutional Data Set (IDS) continues to be the most robust benchmarking platform in the collegiate recreation field. The purpose of the IDS is to provide members with data that help inform various decisions related to recreational facilities, programs, and services. And now NIRSA professional and student members have access to the platform’s full reporting capabilities for the 2015-2016 data set!
NIRSA members at member institutions may access these features—which include peer filtering and personalized reporting—after achieving at least a 50% overall completion rate on all IDS question items. Professional members at non-member institutions may enter data but will only have access to minimal comparison features. If you’re at a non-member institution and interested in accessing the full suite of features available via the IDS, please contact NIRSA Membership.
Despite the robustness of the IDS, NIRSA still needs the help of members like you to improve its value and reach throughout the Association. If your institution has not participated, please consider doing so. Members from across the Association and—in particular—those at small programs and Canadian institutions are strongly encouraged to contribute their institutional data. Your participation is crucial to the success of the platform!
