While many folks have the competencies needed for serving on the NIRSA Board of Directors, each of us brings different skills and experiences to the position. If you’ve ever considered applying to stand for election to the NIRSA Board, you might be interested to learn a little bit more about the resources provided to elected and appointed Board members.
Serving on the Board is a great way to acquire new skills and strengthen old ones by using them in new and different ways. Spend a few minutes with me to learn more about the intentional onboarding process that volunteer NIRSA Board members are guided through once elected or appointed.
Thanks for watching, and I invite you all to share your thoughts with me throughout the year by email or on Twitter—you can follow me on the @NIRSAPresident handle.
