NIRSA is currently in the beginning stages of planning for the 2017 NIRSA Triventure and the Association is looking for volunteers to join the program committee ranks. If you are a fitness, facilities, or aquatics professional or student employee in one of these three key campus rec areas and you are looking to grow your professional portfolio by working behind the scenes to develop and deliver an outstanding professional development experience for more than 100 of your colleagues from across North America, consider applying to serve on one of the institute committees that comprise the 2017 NIRSA Triventure.
NIRSA member participation is the backbone to the success of every NIRSA event. Student or experienced professional alike, the Association needs you! Now is the perfect time to participate, share your expertise, and expand your professional network. Committee members qualify for .3 Professional Involvement Credits which can be used to fulfill renewal requirements in NIRSA’s Professional Registry. Additionally, committee members can register for the event at 50% off their main registration.
Topic-level committees help make the Triventure success each year it is held. Whether you are a seasoned professional or someone looking to get more experience, there is a spot for you on the 2017 NIRSA Recreational Facilities, Fitness and Wellness, and Aquatic Institute Committees.
The 2017 NIRSA Triventure won’t happen without the help of generous and dedicated volunteer members! now and be a part of—and the catalyst for—an outstanding NIRSA event. Applications will be available until October 27.
