Summer is wrapping up and the new academic year is already upon us! It’s an exciting time—a chance to reconnect with friends and dive back into learning. The 2017 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo taking place at the Gaylord National in National Harbor, Maryland from February 21-24 will provide just that type of opportunity! You’ll see old friends, make new ones, and network with individuals within the collegiate recreation field to build your skills in the profession you love.
The NIRSA Foundation is committed to getting members to this professional development event! Every year the Foundation offers several scholarships to both student and professional members who plan on attending the NIRSA Annual Conference. The incredible generosity of many NIRSA associate, professional, and student members—as well as corporate partners and other friends of collegiate recreation—make these scholarships possible.

The student and professional scholarship application submission deadline is Monday, October 17, and the Foundation wants your applications! So mark your calendar and make sure to apply! We can’t wait to see you at NIRSA 2017!
