NIRSA and ACUI members are getting set to learn all about the latest buzz in collegiate marketing at the 2016 NIRSA/ACUI Collegiate Marketing Institute this November! But before attendees head off to Las Vegas for two-and-a-half days of networking and learning, the 2016 NIRSA/ACUI Marketing Institute Committee needs your help to develop an outstanding slate of educational sessions.

The committee is seeking proposals for presentations at this year’s event—set for November 9-11. This year marks the second time that NIRSA and ACUI will be collaborating to bring together this unique event for marketing professionals in campus recreation and student affairs. On behalf of the committee, I would encourage everyone who is involved in marketing for their campus—from students to seasoned professionals—to submit presentation proposals for the 2016 event. The committee is especially looking for proposals in the following areas:

  • Budgeting
  • Student/Staff Development
  • Technology and Social Media
  • Marketing Plan and Content Management
  • Outreach & Special Events
  • Sponsorships

The deadline for session proposals has been extended until Friday, August 12. The session proposal form is available on the ACUI website. Beyond making an impact on the future marketing efforts of dozens of NIRSA and ACUI students and professionals, selected presenters receive a $100 voucher that can be applied to registration of any NIRSA event and Professional Involvement Credits that can be used for initial application or renewal in the Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals.
