The new NIRSA Institutional Data Set is finally open for data collection! Professional members will soon be invited via an electronic mailing to log into the platform through the NIRSA website and begin entering their institutional data for the 2014–2015 academic year. All professional members at both NIRSA member and non-member institutions will be able to enter data. Participation by all Association members in the data entry phase is essential for complete and accurate results and benchmarking capabilities.
To help you get started entering your data, we invite you to attend an instructional webinar with platform host Dynamic Benchmarking on February 24 at 1:00pm EST. Information on how to join this meeting is available on NIRSA Connect. Alternatively, you can contact us to receive a meeting invitation with login details.
Results capabilities will launch prior to the 2016 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo taking place in Kissimmee, FL from April 3–6. Full results, which easily allow professional and student members to compare and filter institutional data against others and run personalized reports, are a benefit of institutional members. For the first time, professional and student members at non-member institutions will be able to try out the platform through access to question-by-question comparisons. To update your institution’s membership and access the full potential of the platform’s results capabilities, please contact NIRSA’s Membership Department.
This exciting platform transition is made possible by generous support from donors to the NIRSA Foundation. The Association would also like to thank the 35 beta testers from diverse institutions who provided invaluable feedback during the integration phase. You can learn more about the transition process and the platform’s improved benchmarking and assessment capabilities on the NIRSA website or on the NIRSA Institutional Data Set webpage.
