Are you interested in presenting at the 2016 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo in Kissimmee, FL from April 3–6? You’re in luck! The Conference Program Committee is still accepting both poster presentation and fitness forum presentations until Wednesday, October 21!

Poster presentations

The Program Committee is dedicated to finding a variety of comprehensive and high-quality educational opportunities for #NIRSA2016, and is especially interested in presentations that are directly related to this year’s theme: “A Strong Core, A Bright Future.” When creating a poster presentation proposal, keep in mind that every poster presentation should align with the eight core competencies for collegiate recreation. A guide is available to help presenters build an effective proposal.

All presenters must have a current NIRSA membership when they submit their presentation proposal, as well as during the Annual Conference. If you want to submit a poster presentation proposal and are not a member, sign up to become one today!

Fitness forums

Every year at the Annual Conference, NIRSA also offers a broad selection of fitness opportunities to promote wellness and celebrate the knowledge and expertise of our members.

NIRSA 2015 fitness forums included “Body Transformation Project,” “Turbo Hiit,” and “PiYo Strength.” Now we need your #NIRSA2016 fitness forum proposals so we build a Strong Core in Kissimmee. Show your fellow NIRSA members what you have and what’s hot on your campus right now!

Don’t delay—the deadline to submit proposals for NIRSA 2016 is Wednesday, October 21!
