The 2015 NIRSA Salary Survey represents thousands of salaries in the collegiate recreation field compared by numerous factors, including: position, university size, department size, average staff size, composition relative to enrollment, and operating budget. The results of this valuable report were released this past summer; the report is available to all NIRSA institutional members.
As an added benefit to those institutional members, NIRSA has now made an online salary calculator available. This new tool makes it easier than ever before to calculate salaries based on 19 different variables, among them: supervisory responsibilities, degree, age, years of experience, and credentials. Your school must be a NIRSA institutional member for you to access the calculator. Simply request the salary calculator’s password from either your NIRSA institutional member administrator or from NIRSA.
