The 2016 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo is taking place in Kissimmee, Florida from April 3–6, and the Association needs your help to build a strong core of education content!

Consider sharing your knowledge with your peers by submitting a presentation proposal for the 2016 Annual Conference by August 12. The Conference Program Committee is looking for proposals that promote best practices endorsing NIRSA’s core competencies and which will support the conference’s theme: “A Strong Core, A Bright Future.” Information for presenters can be found on the NIRSA website.

Another way to get involved with NIRSA 2016 is by volunteering to be a reviewer of presentation proposals. All potential reviewers must be current NIRSA members, have presented at a previous NIRSA Annual Conference, and have knowledge regarding at least one of the 26 session topic areas.

Interested members will need to be available to review approximately ten education sessions between August 24 and September 7. While the amount of time it takes to review ten sessions varies, it is typically around two hours. If you are interested in reviewing sessions, please fill out and submit the 2016 NIRSA Annual Conference Session Reviewer Interest Form by July 20.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and for your contributions to the success of the 2016 NIRSA Annual Conference!
