Wasson Student Leadership and Academic Award!

This award is named after NIRSA’s founder, Dr. William N. Wasson.

The William N. Wasson Student Leadership and Academic Awards recognize exceptional students in collegiate recreation who participate in or are employed by the Department of Recreational Sports. Awards are conferred on both undergraduate and graduate students and personalized plaques will be presented to award recipients during a ceremony at the 2015 NIRSA Annual Conference & Recreational Sports Expo at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas from March 30–April 2. Award winners will be recognized on the NIRSA website and in the NIRSA Know, as well as in NIRSA 2015 conference materials.
