The interactive NIRSA School of Collegiate Recreation Level I focuses on leadership while also providing attendees with a broad range of materials designed to enhance a new professional’s management and problem-solving skills.

The 2015 School is scheduled for May 31–June 5 in St. Louis, Missouri at the Embassy Suites St. Louis–Downtown

The NIRSA School Level I is designed for new and emerging collegiate recreation professionals.

The curriculum at the School Level I is designed for rec professionals with one to five years of full-time work experience; however, the full-time experience does not need to be in recreational sports. Those who have more experience in the field may attend, but should recognize that the sessions are geared toward their less-experienced colleagues.

Experienced collegiate recreation faculty members have developed the course curriculum, designed the program schedule, and will lead sessions that give participants opportunities to practice, discuss, and refine the skills necessary to succeed in the dynamic world of collegiate recreation.

To foster a personal and dynamic learning environment, there is a registration cap of 48 students. Past years have shown that spaces fill quickly, so don’t delay! Registration will open Tuesday, December 9.

Registered attendees will be able to make their room reservations by calling +1 (314) 269-5900 and requesting the NIRSA rate; a single/double is $169+tax/night.
