Whether you were part of the Expo excitement in Nashville or happened to miss out on the 2014 action, you definitely don’t want to miss the 2015 Expo at the Gaylord Texan!
With over 155 vendors participating and more than 3,000 attendees walking the show floor, the 2014 NIRSA Recreational Sports Expo was the greatest show to date, and 2015 is looking to be even more spectacular!
Everyone was talking about the Expo at NIRSA 2014—and NIRSA 2015 promises to be even better!The two day expo at Gaylord Texan will open on the second day of the NIRSA Annual Conference and kick off with three hours of unopposed time that will include food and cash bars throughout the hall. During this time, attendees will be coming to the Expo Hall to collect their conference bag, which they’ll put to immediate use, filling it up with swag from participating vendors. The hall will also be buzzing with a different action-packed Fitness Forum workout beginning each hour.
Many NIRSA 2014 attendees, like Taysha Blessington, University of West Florida GA, counted the Expo among their favorite conference experiences. Taysha recalls, “I loved walking through the Expo, eyeing all of the equipment and gadgets that hopefully will one day find a place in my own facility!” The Expo at NIRSA 2015 is ready to continue this trend!
New this year, the NIRSA Foundation will be getting in on the Expo Hall action, hosting a free throw shooting contest. Every dollar donated gets you a 45 second chance to shoot to win great prizes. You’ll also be contributing to the NIRSA Foundation and the future of collegiate recreation by “supporting today and ensuring tomorrow.”
The final Expo day will begin with an unopposed coffee break and conclude with the popular ice cream social! Attendees will also have time to peruse the Expo Hall during their lunch break, allowing even more Expo exploration outside of the hours allotted for educational sessions.
Prime locations are already beginning to fill, but, with a hall that can take on more than ever, we will have space for you! Early bird deadline is August 31, which will give you the best pricing, especially if you qualify for the 10% Associate Member discount.
