Is it time to renew your membership to the Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals (RCRSP)?
If so, you should have received an email notification regarding your pending expiration.
If you just haven’t had the time to update your NIRSA Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Involvement Credits (PICs) in order to submit for your renewal, you’re in luck!
As this is the first year for RCRSP renewals, the Professional Registry Commission has approved a 30-day grace period from the time of your expiration, in order to allow a little extra time for members to gather information and submit renewals.
(Please note your actual renewal date will not change.)

Additionally, the Professional Registry Commission is working on a process for expired Registry members to be able to rejoin the Registry should they miss the 30-day grace period window. The Commission hopes to share the results of this discussion soon.
NIRSA Headquarters is working to develop additional renewal reminders, timed at six months and three months before Registry professionals’ membership expiration. These messages will complement existing reminders, which are currently sent in a professional’s penultimate month of Registry membership and during the one-month grace period after it expires. Currently, these notices are sent between the 15th and 20th of each month.
To assist with renewals, remember that tracking your CEUs online is now easier than ever, and your information will be stored in the NIRSA database; you don’t have to worry about losing this important information. This is a great way to keep up to date on your professional development, so you are not rushed when it comes time to renew. You also do not have to be a member of the Registry to tack your professional development online; any NIRSA member can utilize this resource.
Happy tracking and renewing!
