As reported in a special email message to members on February 20, the Nominations & Appointments Committee has verified the results of the 2014 NIRSA Elections.

NIRSA would like to express tremendous gratitude to all the professional and student members who stood for office! Their willingness to serve the Association in this capacity is vital to our work and is greatly appreciated. Thank you also to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules in order to help shape and guide the direction of NIRSA’s future. Bylaws
With widespread approval (over 96%), NIRSA Members passed the proposed amendments to the Articles of Incorporation and the Bylaws.
The newly adopted versions of the NIRSA Bylaws and the Articles of Incorporation are now available on the Governing Documents page of the NIRSA website.
Annual Director Appointment
NIRSA’s Board of Directors recently appointed Dr. Don Stenta, Director of Recreational Sports at The Ohio State University, as the 2014-2015 Annual Director on the Association’s Board of Directors; read the related article.
