There is still time to register for the Emerging Recreational Sports Leaders Conference (ERSL), being held February 20-22 in sunny Orlando, FL.

Since 1992, the Emerging Recreational Sports Leaders Conference has sought to provide students interested in careers in collegiate recreation with the tools and connections they need to succeed in this dynamic field; don’t miss your chance to be a part of this exemplary NIRSA tradition!

Please note that online registration will be closing on February 2; however late-registration will be available onsite.

Another deadline to make note of is January 20, the last day to reserve a room using the ERSL room block at the Radisson Hotel Orlando – UCF. Booking by this date allows you to receive the $99 + tax rate; for more information check out the conference hotel page.

For those who will be arriving early, you won’t want to miss one of two facility tours that will be offered, free of charge, on February 20—but you have to register by February 2 to take advantage of this opportunity! You can register for the preconference tours when your register for the conference, which is available online or via PDF.

One tour will be of the University of Central Florida Campus, including the Bright House Networks Stadium and CFE Arena. The second tour will be a facility tour front, behind the scenes, and Q&A session with professionals of the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World; space is limited on this tour, so make sure you register as soon as possible to secure your spot! Shuttles will pick-up participants from the Radisson host hotel at 9:00am for both tours, and the tours will conclude between 1:00pm and 2:00pm on the university campus, allowing plenty of time to check-in to the conference and attend the opening welcome session.

Educational sessions have been posted on the conference webpages, so jump online and check out the educational lineup! Most sessions qualify for NIRSA Continuing Education Units (CEUs)—a great bonus for all of our Registry of Collegiate Recreational Sports Professionals (RCRSP) members working on their renewal applications.
